I know all ‘Flashpoint’ fans are very happy these days because their favorite ‘Flashpoint’ is coming back with second season. Second season will be premiered in the beginning of 2009 and most probably, season opener will be entitled as ‘Eagle Two’. Well, guys now , I’m gonna write the name of some more episodes which I’m not sure about. I got all these names from a website. Here they’re for you guys, ‘Fight or Flight’, ‘Backwards Day’, ‘In a Heartbeat’. Well, we’ll talk about these episodes in future, when they’ll be aired!

Now, let’s talk about the ‘Planets Aligned’ aired on September 18, 08. Here, we see that SRU tries to save a gal who has been kidnapped and is being held at a booby-trapped home. While the team investigates the case, they come to know that one of the abductors is a teenager who went missing several years ago. It was an absolutely great episode .. Greatly performed and nicely written. What I best like about ‘Flashpoint’ is their way of representing the things. They hardly sugarcoat the stuff and that’s why their scenes look like real ones. Yeah, it’s a show which needs a mind to understand what’s going on… I must say that it’s the best Police Drama!

I am watching ‘Flashpoint’ episodes, right from its beginning. All episodes aired during the first season were really superb and series continued to make its mark by delivering more and more enjoyable episodes every week. I must say, that this CBS drama is one of the very successful shows of 2008. Really, it’s superb… every characters seems like our family member, whether it’s a police officer/ a victim or even villains too. Episodes represent the real life stories and it makes us to feel close to ‘Flashpoint’.

Well, nowadays, ‘Flashpoint’ is on hiatus and we’ll have to wait until the series returns with second season in 2009. Waiting for flashpoint…………. Yesterday, I downloaded my favorite episodes of first season, here’s the website, you guys can also download.

Good News! The show producers have planned a special New Year gift for all the Flashpoint junkies. All the adventure of Strategic Response Unit is coming again with second season in 2009. As the season one got immense success in US, so the creators were obliged to answer to viewers’ call for more. So they are gonna prepare a season full of thirteen episodes to pacify demand of action freaks.

This is an absolutely brilliant show, evident from the special place it has made in American as well as Canadians hearts. The premier alone attracted 8.23 million viewers. It earned the ranking one in its time slot. Its success can be judged from this point too that previously it was appearing on Fridays, but the channel shifted it to Thursdays. This was done to pull in more viewers for their other shows on Thursday, due to its sound fan following in first season. The show has secured a safe place for itself despite the presence of other similar police dramas on screen.

I am also one of the huge fans of this show and I was desperately waiting for this news. Actually, when after a few episodes, it got off the air, I was wondering how they guys could pull such a happening series off the screen. Fortunately, my assumption was wrong and they are bringing it back.

I like this show, because it is definitely different from the other police dramas on screen. I don’t disagree with the fact that the storyline of episodes are pretty similar to other similar shows. But this also can’t be denied that this police drama has a different perception. It concentrates more upon the post effects of working under such tough and stressful conditions. The officers are so obsessed with their missions that despite being willing they can’t devote time to themselves and their families. In fact many suffer from post traumatic disorders as well. But they still have to work in the same atmosphere and their working conditions never change. They literally devote their life to protect those, whom they have never been with and don’t know even.

In my opinion, the show throws light on other side of the old coin. I am truly missing all that adventure and hopefully will get it back soon.

This is for all the cool guys and of course, for hot girls (in fact, hot tempered) who are fond of action. Unless you have just returned from mars, you must be aware that the bang bang show is coming again. If you are also a gizmo freak then get ready to bash with technology of 60s. I am talking about the Flashpoint. The only thing which makes it different from other police dramas is hi-tech weapons in its possession.

Do you know this amazing thing about this show? All the weapons and even the spectra helmet being used in this show are the inventions of 1960. Whether this is C8 Rifle, Sniper rifle, Glock Pistol or MP5 submachine gun, all are the French, German, Austrian and Canadian models of 1960. Only Remington 700, sniper rifle belongs to US. I suppose, whoever has selected these gizmos for the show; definitely owns a nice collection of guns’ models from all around the world. Cool choice Man!

They have not meddled with the designs at all and have retained them in their true form. Only the color of Spectra helmet has been changed. SRU cops are wearing black helmets, although the original Spectra helmet comes in only two colors, blue and green. In fact, at present, Danish and French military is using the green spectra helmet.

I am keenly interested in hi-tech weapons; even the old models fascinate me. Some old models of pistols and rifles are so damn perfect that they are still used in military and of course by gangsters as well. Glock pistol and sniper rifles are examples of that. In Flashpoint, both are put to maximum use. The actors operating them must be having fun. Whoever will hold semi-automatic Glock Pistol in hand once, won’t be able to resist the temptation of firing at least, one shot. But alas! They use fake cartridge, so you can’t judge the damage a single bullet is capable of doing.

But I must admit that excellent filming and stunts give a glimpse of true impact of these dangerous beauties. But in contemporary markets more efficient guns are available. That’s why Lewis views these gizmos of 60s with disgust on the show, as being a former gangster he’s fond of fully automatic machine guns and pistols. I like Sam’s Remington 700 as well. Keep sniping for the show….
